About Alvis Renovations
We treat a renovation as part of the investment.
For an investor, a renovation isn't a remodel. It's an asset that stopped producing and needs to start again. Our job is to move the property from purchase to market-ready as efficiently as possible — and to be predictable enough that you can build a plan around us.
Who we are
A renovation company that works on the investor's clock.
Alvis Renovations LLC is a renovation contractor based in the Lowcountry, working across the Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia markets. Most contractors in this region are built around homeowners — one kitchen at a time, on a homeowner's timeline, with a homeowner's budget flexibility.
We're set up differently. Our clients buy properties that need work: flips, rentals, make-readies, portfolio units. They need a scope they can underwrite, a schedule they can plan around, and a crew that finishes. That's the business we built.
After eight years and more than a thousand completed projects, we operate as a one-stop shop across two markets. Investors buying in Charleston and Savannah usually end up juggling two contractors, two pricing structures and two sets of standards — one for South Carolina, one for Georgia. With us it's one contract, one point of contact and every trade covered, on either side of the state line.
That matters most for owners who don't live near what they own — which is most of the people we work with. You shouldn't have to find a new contractor every time a property is in a different city, and you shouldn't have to fly in to find out how the job is going.

How we operate
The four things we refuse to be casual about.
Brand values are easy to write. These are the ones that actually show up in how a job runs.
Quality
Finishes that survive tenants and inspections — not just finishes that photograph well on day one.
Responsibility
If we commit to a start date and a scope, that commitment holds. If something changes, you hear it from us first.
Honesty
Clear pricing, written change orders, and a straight answer when a scope doesn't make sense for the exit you're planning.
Professionalism
Licensed, insured, and organized enough to run several properties at once without losing track of yours.
What that means for you
You stop being the general contractor.
Most investors we meet are managing the project themselves: one guy for flooring, another for paint, a third who was supposed to show up Tuesday. That's not a renovation strategy — that's a second job.
- One contract covering every trade on the property
- One person who answers the phone and knows the job
- Weekly progress updates with photos, no site visit needed
- Written scope and pricing you can send to a partner or lender
- Standard finish packages across your portfolio
Brand promise
Transforming spaces, building trust.
It's on our business cards for a reason. In this business, the second project is the one that proves you meant it — and most of our work comes from investors coming back with the next property.
Let's talk about your next property.
